PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a transparent crystallized glass having high stability of devitrification resistance and superior wavelength up-conversion characteristics.SOLUTION : The glass has a composition comprising, on a mol% basis : 10 to 48% of SiOand 2 to 40% of BOin a range satisfying (SiO+BO) being 26 to 50%; 25 to 45% of SrFand 15 to 35% of AlO; 0 to 5% of ErOand 0 to 5% of ErFin a range satisfying (ErO+ErF) being 0.01 to 5%; 0 to 10% of YbOand 0 to 10% of YbFin a range satisfying (YbO+YbF) being 0.01 to 10%; and further 0 to 10% of AlF. Strontium fluoride microcrystals encapsulating a rare earth ion are crystallized in the glass. |
