PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a superconduction stabilization material whose production process is relatively simple at a low cost and sufficiently high in a residual resistance ratio (RRR), and a stably usable superconducting wire.SOLUTION : Provided is a superconducting wire being a copper material, provided with : an element wire made of a superconductor; and a superconduction stabilization material arranged so as to be contacted with the element wire. The superconduction stabilization material contains one or more kinds of additional elements selected from rare earth elements in the range of 3 mass ppm or more and 400 mass ppm or less in total, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and in which the total concentration of the inevitable impurities other than O, H, C, N and S as gas components is 19.8 mass ppm or more and 100 mass ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING : None |
