The electrode group 22 comprises a positive electrode 24 and a negative electrode 26 which are overlapped with a separator 28 interposed therebetween. The negative electrode 26 includes a rare earth-Mg-Ni based hydrogen absorbing alloy having a crystal structure where an ABtype subunit and an ABtype subunit are laminated. The alkaline electrolyte includes TeO. |
