PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an iodine compound adsorbent enabling radioactive waste liquid to be decontaminated by a liquid passing through treatment, and a method and equipment for treating radioactive waste liquid using the iodine compound adsorbent.
SOLUTION : There is provided the iodine compound adsorbent which contains a polymer resin, a water-containing rare earth element hydroxide of 10 pts.wt. or more per 100 pts.wt. of the polymer rein, and in which the water-containing rare earth element has water content of 1 pts.wt. to 30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of a dried article.
