PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To re-form a molding tooth part of a desired shape and dimension to a honing grindstone.
SOLUTION : A tooth part re-forming device 20 for grindstone comprises : a grindstone holding mechanism 24 for holding a honing grindstone 10; a tooth part removing mechanism 26 for removing a molding tooth part 12 formed on an inner peripheral wall of the honing grindstone 10; and a tooth part re-forming mechanism 28 for forming a new molding tooth part on the inner peripheral wall of the honing grindstone 10. The molding tooth part 12 is ground (removed) when a dress ring 44 constituting the tooth part removing mechanism 26 comes into slide contact with the molding tooth part 12. Then, a formed cutter 164 constituting the tooth part re-forming mechanism 28 grinds the inner peripheral wall of the honing grindstone 10 to form a new molding tooth part. During the grinding, the honing grindstone 10 rotates together with a ring body 112 and tilts together with a holding board 110.
