简介 A method for using a rare earth element-iron oxide to prepare a blank, relating to the technical field of ceramic material synthesis. In the present method, ferric oxide, a rare earth element oxide, and a blank reducing agent are mixed to obtain a mixture, the mixture is pressed into a pre-blank, and then the pre-blank is placed in a sintering device for sintering to obtain a blank. A reducing agent or an oxygen absorber is placed in the sintering device, the blank reducing agent being an iron powder or ferrous oxide. The reducing activity of the reducing agent or the oxygen absorber is greater then the activity of the blank reducing agent. The advantages of the present invention are that the residual oxidation of the environment can be effectively reduced to just the point of not impacting the material, causing the active ingredients in the rare earth element-iron oxide blank to accurately reach a target oxide value, and at the same time, production can be easily scaled up, also facilitating preparation of a variety of ceramic blanks of large sizes or complex shapes.
