This electric motor 1 is provided with a rotor 3 comprising a rotor magnet 20. The rotor magnet 20 is provided with : a circular back yoke 23 which is formed by molding a resin comprising soft magnetic powder or ferrite powder; resin magnets 24 which are formed by molding a resin comprising rare earth magnetic powder, which are aligned on the outer circumference of the back yoke 23 with a space between each resin magnet in the circumferential direction of the back yoke 23, and which have a plurality of magnet pieces 24a which form the magnetic poles of the rotor 3; and a connector section 24b which is part of the resin magnet 24, and is a holder which holds the plurality of magnet pieces 24a onto the outer circumference of the back yoke 23. |
