The present invention provides a red light emitting fluoride phosphor of excellent waterproof property. A fluoride phosphor at least containing the rare-earth element fluorine compound on the surface of fluoride particles is represented by the general formula A2MF6 : Mn, wherein M is at least one kind of metal element selected from silicone (Si), titanium (Ti), and germanium (Ge), and A is at least one kind of alkaline metal selected from sodium (Na) and potassium (K). The disclosed would be the phosphor with enhanced waterproof and excellent long-term stability, and the semiconductor light-emitting device using same. |
