SOLUTION : A powder is continuously applied to a plurality of sintered magnet bodies m1-m8 by arranging a stationary beam 2 with which magnet body holding parts 22 are successively provided, in such a manner that the stationary beam passes the inside of a slurry 1, conveying the sintered magnet bodies m1-m8 by repeating an operation for moving a sintered magnet body (m) that is mounted in the magnet body holding part 22 to the next magnet body holding part 22 by a movable beam 3, applying the slurry by making the sintered magnet bodies pass the inside of the slurry 1 during the conveyance, and fixing the powder in the slurry by removing a solvent in the slurry by next drying the sintered magnet bodies.
EFFECT : The powder of a rare earth compound can be uniformly applied to a sintered magnet body surface and further, waste of the slurry can be effectively decreased by reducing the quantity of the slurry to be carried out of a coating tank.
