PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a capacitor arranged so that a high electrostatic capacitance can be maintained even at a high temperature with a voltage applied thereto.SOLUTION : A capacitor comprises : a dielectric layer having barium titanate crystal grains containing calcium, and made of a dielectric porcelain containing at least one rare earth element (RE) selected from a group consisting of terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium and gadrinium. The crystal grains are made up of at least two kinds of crystal grains, which are different from each other by 0.1 atom% or larger in the concentration of the rare earth element (RE) at a position at a depth of 20 nm from a grain boundary. |
