PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth iron bonded magnet which suppresses demagnetization under a high temperature environment and is excellent in mechanical strength.
SOLUTION : Rare earth iron based magnet powder, such as Nd-Fe-B based magnet powder and a binder with thermosetting resin as a main agent are mixed to undergo compression molding, next, a compact is thermally cured, the compact subsequently undergoes coupling agent processing for immersing the compact in a coupling agent, such as a silane based coupling agent to perform thermal treatment, and a rare earth iron based bonded magnet is acquired.
