PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for preparing an aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles, in which each of resin particles has a small particle size and which has a sharp particle size distribution, and to provide a method for producing a toner by using the aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles.SOLUTION : The method for preparing the aqueous dispersion of resin fine particles comprises : a mixing step of mixing at least a resin having an acid radical with an anionic surfactant to obtain a mixture; and an emulsification step of agitating the obtained mixture in the presence of water, an acid and the tertiary amine shown by the following formula 1, NRRR(wherein R, Rand Rare each a 1-8C hydrocarbon group optionally having a hydroxyl group), at the temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition point of the resin having the acid radical to obtain a resin-emulsified product. |
