PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method capable of heightening detection accuracy of a rare cell by discriminating a rare cell from a non-objective cell showing a false positive reaction to a rare cell identification marker.
SOLUTION : Blood from which erythrocyte is removed is added to a substrate for cell expansion, and stained by a rare cell identification marker (marker A), a non-objective cell identification marker (marker B), and a marker (marker C) for such non-objective cells that a reaction to a cell stained by the maker A is different from a reaction to a rare cell, to thereby acquire respective fluorescent images. Thus, the rare cell can be identified from the fluorescent images.
