简介 To provide a ceramic composite having high brightness and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION : A manufacturing method of a ceramic composite includes the steps of : preparing a raw material mixture involving a first rare earth aluminate phosphor particle involving an activation element and a first rare earth element which is different from the activation element, an oxide particle involving a second rare earth element, and an aluminum oxide particle, wherein based on the total amount of the first rare earth aluminate phosphor particle, the oxide particle, and the aluminum oxide particle of 100 mass%, the content of the first rare earth aluminate phosphor particle is in a range of 5 mass% or over and 40 mass% or under, the content of the oxide particle is in a range of 0.1 mass% or over and 32 mass% or under, and the content of the aluminum oxide particle is the balance; preparing a compact of the raw material mixture; and firing the compact in a temperature range of 1550°C or over and 1800°C or under to obtain a sintered body.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1A
