A sintered R-TM-B magnet which comprises 24.5-34.5 mass% R (R is at least one element selected from among rare-earth elements including Y), 0.85-1.15 mass% B, less than 0.1 mass% Co, 0.07-0.5 mass% Ga, 0-0.4 mass% Cu, unavoidable impurities, and Fe as the remainder, characterized in that the contents of Ga and Cu, on an X-Y plane where the Ga amount (mass%) and the Cu amount (mass%) are plotted respectively as X-axis and Y-axis, are in a pentagonal region defined by points A (0.5, 0.0), B (0.5, 0.4), C (0.07, 0.4), D (0.07, 0.1), and E (0.2, 0.0) as the vertexes. |
