PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an emulsion resin composition containing a urethane type viscosity modifier whose viscosity does not increase even if stored for a long period of time at high or low temperature.SOLUTION : There is provided a viscosity modifier represented by general formula (1), wherein Rto Rare each a 1-13C straight chain alkyl group; Rand Rare each any group of those represented by formulas (2) and (3); m and n are each a number of 3 to 15; x is a number of 40 to 800; and y is a number of ≥1, provided that the sum of the carbon numbers of Rand R, and that of Rand R4 should be both 10 to 14. |
