PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth complex having high heat resistance and capable of efficiently emitting light even by light with a long wavelength and a manufacturing method therefor.
SOLUTION : There is provided a rare earth complex having a trivalent rare earth ion and a ligand coordinating to the rare earth ion. There is provided a ligand containing an acid anionic ligand having an anionic group represented by the formula (1) and/or two or more carboxylate groups and an enolate ligand having an enolate group.
