PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for recovering rare earth metals capable of easily and inexpensively separating and recovering rare earth metals without undergoing a complicated process, and further, to provide the method for recovering rare earth metals recoverable as valuables with commercial value as industrial raw material.SOLUTION : A method for recovering rare earth metals includes : a step of bringing a sample including rare earth metals into contact with nucleic acid in a free form in a solution; and a step of separately recovering precipitates formed by the coupling of the rare earth metal with the nucleic acid in the free form. Further, the method for recovering rare earth metal includes a step of converting the precipitates into organic acid salt or carbonate. |
