PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a recovery method and a recovery device of rare-earth magnet which are simple, require less man-hours, and can take out a rare-earth magnet easily from a rotor.SOLUTION : The recovery method of rare-earth magnet recovers a rare-earth magnet from a motor having at least a shaft attached to a rotating shaft, a laminate formed of a plurality of magnetic steel sheets laminated in the axial direction around the shaft, a rare-earth magnet housed in a magnet housing hole formed in the laminate so as to penetrate the laminate in the axial direction of the shaft, and a rotor having a protective portion closing the magnet housing hole of the laminate. The recovery method includes a step for removing the protective portion from the rotor, and a step for taking out the rare-earth magnet from the magnet housing hole without taking out the shaft from the rotor and without cutting the shaft. |
