PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rotor of a magnet-included synchronous machine capable of maintaining or improving an output while effectively utilizing a rare earth magnet which is a bond magnet.
SOLUTION : A rotor (R) of a magnet-included synchronous machine is made of a roughly columnar or roughly cylindrical soft magnetic body, and includes a body (1) having, around a rotation center axis (O), a plurality of included parts (13) which are closed ring cylindrical gaps bending in recessed shapes toward an outer peripheral side and extending in the rotation center axis, and a permanent magnet (2) made of a rare earth bond magnet and formed by filling the included part. The included part has rectangular parts (131 and 132) including planar inner wall surfaces extending in the rotation center axis direction and facing each other in parallel in a section from an outer peripheral end closest to the outer peripheral edge of the body to an inner peripheral edge closed to the rotation center axis of the body. The bond magnet formed by filling the rectangular part has a substantially uniform magnetic density distribution, and exhibits a high magnetic flux density, and a demagnetization amount is reduced.
