PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a permanent magnet material in the present invention.
SOLUTION : The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a permanent magnet material including a coating step and a penetration step. The manufacturing method of the permanent magnet material comprises coating a material including a rare earth element to a surface of a permanent magnet of which a thickness of at least one direction is equal to 10 mm or less, putting the coated material into a container, vacuum-decompressing an atmospheric pressure until to less than 10 Pa, sealing a passage, and performing a heating treatment to the sealing device. When adapting the method of the present invention, the rare earth element can be evenly penetrated, and improve a penetration rate. Further, the method of the present invention is a low cost and can greatly improve a magnetic coercive force of the permanent magnet material, is low in a remanent flux density.
