简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method for a rare earth permanent magnet material. SOLUTION : A manufacturing method according to the present invention includes an atomization spraying coating process and a permeation process, and a sintered rare earth magnet having been subjected to an atomization spraying coating process in advance before permeation is placed in a closed container. A grain boundary phase of the sintered rare earth magnet is impregnated with an atomized and applied heavy rare earth element by atomizing, spraying, and applying a solution having the heavy rare earth element on a surface of a sintered R1-Fe(Co)-B-A-X-M rare earth magnet, and then performing heat treatment after burning. When the manufacturing method according to the present invention is employed, the amount of the heavy rare earth element in use is reduced and the manufacturing cost is low as compared with traditional processes. Further, the manufacturing method according to the present invention reduces a decrease in residual magnetic flux density, and thereby greatly improve coercive force of the magnet and also remarkably lower the temperature coefficient of residual magnetic flux density and the temperature coefficient of the coercive force of the magnet, thereby remarkably improving demagnetization resistance performance of the magnet at high temperature.
