PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a conjugated diene polymer having higher percentage content of cis-1, 4 structure with higher activity than conventional ones by using a rare earth metal-based alkoxide compound.
SOLUTION : The invention relates to a catalyst for conjugated diene polymerization containing a rare earth metal-based alkoxide compound (A) excluding a Sm-based alkoxide compound and a Yb-based alkoxide compound, an ionic compound consisting of non-coordinating anion and cation (B) and an organic metal compound of an element selected from II Group, XII group and VIII group in the periodic table (C).
