To provide a ferrite sintered magnet having both of a high coercive force and a high residual magnetic flux density.SOLUTION : A ferrite sintered magnet 10 comprises a ferrite phase having a crystal structure of a magnetoplumbite type of hexagonal crystal. In the ferrite sintered magnet 10, a Ga content is 0.027-0.217 mass% in terms of GaO. The ferrite sintered magnet 10 has a composition represented by RAFeCo, where R is at least one element selected from rare earth elements including Y, and A is at least one element selected from Ba and Ca or a combination of Ca and Sr and x, y and m satisfy the following formulas (1), (2) and (3) : 0.2≤x≤0.8 (1); 0.1≤y≤0.65 (2); and 3≤m<14 (3).SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1 |
