PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a positive electrode material reduced in quantity of impurity; a positive electrode material manufacturing method by which a positive electrode material reduced in quantity of impurity can be manufactured readily; a positive electrode including such a positive electrode material or a positive electrode material obtained by the positive electrode material manufacturing method; and a lithium ion battery having such a positive electrode.
SOLUTION : A positive electrode material comprises : active material particles formed by using, as a material for formation thereof, a positive electrode active material.
