Provided is a magnet molding for obtaining magnetic members having a high coercive force. The magnet molding is obtained by compression molding a rare earth-iron alloy powder having a plurality of rare earth-iron alloy particles including a rare earth element and iron. The rare earth-iron alloy satisfies features (a) to (c) below, and the magnet molding has voids comprising 5-20 vol%, inclusive. (a) the structure includes10-30 mass%, inclusive, of Sm, 10 mass% or less of Mn, and the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities; (b) the composition is Sm2MnxFe17-x (where x = 0.1 to 2.5, inclusive); and (c) the average grain size is 700 nm or less. |
