简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a grain diffusion method of a Nd-Fe-B magnet using a hydride, such as Dy and Tb, as a diffusion agent and capable of developing a high coercive force. SOLUTION : A grain diffusion method of a Nd-Fe-B magnet includes : a step of applying a heavy rare earth hydride on a Nd-Fe-B magnet; a first diffusion (prediffusion) step of performing heat treatment at a first temperature; a second diffusion (main diffusion) step of performing heat treatment at a second temperature higher than the first temperature, after the first diffusion step; and an aging heat treatment step of performing heat treatment at a third temperature lower than the first temperature, after the second diffusion step.
