PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of producing a curable organopolysiloxane composition that forms a cured product having a favorable modulus of elasticity.SOLUTION : A method of producing a curable organopolysiloxane composition comprises : obtaining (A) a solvent-soluble organopolysiloxane by conducting a hydrosilylation reaction between (i) an organopolysiloxane represented by average compositional formula RSiO(where Rrepresents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, 0.1 to 40 mol% of all groups represented by Rare alkenyl groups, and a is a positive number that satisfies 1≤a<2), and (ii) a diorganopolysiloxane represented by the general formula : HRSi(RSiO)RSiH (where Rrepresents an alkyl group, and n is an integer ranging from 0 to 1, 000); and mixing it with (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane and (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst. |
