PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a lubricant composition which is suitable as a lubricant, especially a lubricant for an internal combustion engine, has excellent fuel economy, and suppresses high temperature deposit.SOLUTION : There is provided a lubricant composition containing (A) a phosphorus compound represented by general formula (1) of 0.005 to 0.08 mass% in terms of a phosphorus element, (B) a molybdenum compound containing sulfur of 10 to 400 mass.ppm in terms of a molybdenum element and at least one kind of additive agent selected from a metallic cleaning agent, an ashless dispersant, a viscosity index improver and an antioxidant, in lubricant base oil. In the general formula (1), Rto Rare a straight alkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms and may be same or different, Xto Xrepresent each oxygen or sulfur, at least one of Xand Xis oxygen, at least one of Xand Xis oxygen, and Y represents a metal element. |
