To suppress the deterioration of beam quality caused by TMI in a fiber laser device.SOLUTION : A fiber laser device includes an excitation light source that outputs excitation light, an amplification fiber having a core to which a rare earth element excited by the excitation light is added, a front fiber optically connected to the amplification fiber to form a HR-FBG, a rear fiber optically connected to the amplification fiber to form an OC-FBG having a reflectance lower than that of the HR-FBG, an output end that outputs laser light, and an ultrasonic application unit that applies ultrasonic waves that change the refractive index of the core periodically over time to the amplification fiber.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1A |
