简介 Rare-earth cold storage material particles comprising a rare-earth oxide or a rare-earth sulfide, wherein the rare-earth cold storage material particles are characterized in that the rare-earth cold storage material particles comprise sintered compacts, the average crystal grain size of the sintered compacts being 0.5-5 µm, the porosity of the sintered compacts being 10-50 vol%, and the average pore diameter being 0.3-3 µm. The porosity of the rare-earth cold storage material particles is preferably 20-45 vol%. The maximum diameter of the pores is preferably 4 µm or less. Such rare-earth cold storage material particles are suitable for a refrigerator. Through this configuration, a rare-earth cold storage material can be provided having high cold storage ability and high strength.
