Provided are a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for manufacturing individual rare-earth sintered magnet sintered body without transporting a mold into a sintering furnace. The manufacturing method comprises : a powder feed step of feeding alloy powder to a mold having a side wall divided into two or more parts; a filling step of filling the mold with the alloy powder so as to fabricate a filled molding; an orienting step of applying a magnetic field to the filled molding so as to orient the alloy powder in the filled molding and fabricate an oriented filled molding; an extraction step of separating the side wall of the mold from the oriented filled molding and extracting the oriented filled molding from the mold; and a sintering step of sintering the extracted oriented filled molding. The method is characterized in that the filling step and the orienting step are performed at separate locations, wherein preferably, the orienting step includes applying a pulsed magnetic field and the mold is internally divided by a dividing plate into a plurality of cavities. |
