PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a hydrogen storage alloy having improved hydrogen absorbing/desorbing properties. SOLUTION : The hydrogen storage alloy is characterized in that it includes an alloy ingot manufactured by a casting method or a sintering method and having a composition represented by the following general formula (2) or a pulverized material of the alloy ingot. Mg1-aR1a(Ni1-xM2x)z...
