PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a triphenylamine derivative that improves photosensitivity in low temperature environments when used as a hole transport agent of an electrophotographic photoreceptor; a production method thereof; and an electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION : A triphenylamine derivative represented by the general formula (1) is used.
