The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a conjugated diene polymer capable of increasing the robustness of the polymerization reaction system. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a conjugated diene polymer manufactured by said manufacturing method and having a high cis-1, 4 bond content. A method for manufacturing a conjugated diene polymer characterized in that a conjugated diene monomer is polymerized using a polymerization catalyst composition comprising a rare earth element compound and a compound with a cyclopentadiene backbone, and a conjugated diene polymer characterized in being manufactured by said manufacturing method and in the cis-1, 4 bond content being at least 95%. |
