FIELD : machine building.
SUBSTANCE : device is intended for sharpening of the beet slicing knives of the machines for root crops cutting with cutting elements made on the knife body, they are in form of ridge roof, the device contains the repositioned along Y-axis of the alignment assembly and processing assembly, having disk cutter, and clamp that locks the knife body and is made with possibility of repositioning along X-axis. Wherein in the initial position the alignment assembly and the processing assembly are removed from each other, and the clamp with the beet slicing knife is repositioned along X-axis, where the cutting element is aligned relatively the disc cutter, and in the work position the alignment assembly by the alignment element is installed on rare side of the cutting element, and the disk cutter cuts in the cutting element, during milling these components are repositioned to the initial position by extent of milling along Y-axis.
EFFECT : complete automation of knives sharpening.
