The present invention relates to a blue LED package comprising rare earth metal particles, and more specifically, to a blue LED package comprising : a blue LED chip; and an LED encapsulating member including a compound represented by the following chemical formula 1 : M_a(OH)_b(CO_3)_cO_d within a polymer resin. In the chemical formula 1 : M is Sc, Y, La, Al, Lu, Ga, Zn, V, Zr, Ca, Sr, Ba, Sn, Mn, Bi, or Ac; and a is 1 or 2, b is 0 to 2, c is 0 to 3, and d is 0 to 3. However, b, c, and d are not simultaneously 0; and b and c are simultaneously 0, or not simultaneously 0. |
