简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a capacitor which has high capacitance and is small in temperature variation rate of relative permittivity even in a high-temperature load state.SOLUTION : Dielectric porcelain includes a rare earth element and Mn, Mg and crystal grains 9 of barium titanate include crystal particles 9a of a first crystal group of 0.05 atm%/nm in concentration gradient of magnesium within a range of a depth of 20 nm from a grain boundary, and crystal particles 9b of a second crystal group of 0.03 atm%/nm in concentration gradient of magnesium within a range of a depth of 20 nm from a grain boundary. A mean particle size of the crystal particles forming the crystal particles 9a forming the first crystal group and the crystal particles forming the second crystal group is 0.15-0.40 μm, and b/(a+b) is 0.4-0.7, where (a) is the area of the crystal particles 9a forming the first crystal group viewed on a polished surface of the dielectric porcelain and (b) is the area of the crystal particles 9a forming the second crystal group.
