Disclosed is a method of purifying rare earths from rare earth refined industrial waste water, comprising the steps of : 1)mixing rare-earth refined industrial waste water with Mg-based material to obtain a first rare-earth mixture; 2)adding the first rare-earth mixture of step 1) into another rare-earth refined industrial waste water; 3)steps 1) and 2) above are cyclical periods, obtaining a product after going through at least 2 cycle periods of operation; 4)obtaining rare-earth products by the separation step of the product of step 3). The method has the features of simple process, no environmental pollution and the like. |
