PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a capacitor having superior characteristics even in the case of manufacturing the capacitor by sintering an electrode material including a base metal and a lithium-conducting solid electrolytic material in a low oxygen atmosphere; and a method for manufacturing such a capacitor.
SOLUTION : A capacitor 1 comprises : internal electrodes 7 including at least one metal material selected from Cu, Ni and Fe; and a solid electrolytic body 5 including 50 vol.% or more of a lithium ion-conducting solid electrolyte expressed by the following formula : LiαZrβMγ(PO4)3 (where M represents at least one kind of metal selected from Al, Ga, In and a rare earth element; and α, β and γ satisfy the conditions given by 1.11+γ).
