PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a modifier which is excellent in coating performance and can give holding power suppressing thermal demagnetization to a neodymium magnet.
SOLUTION : Disclosed is a nonmagnetic slurry composition which is coated on a magnetic substance containing the Nd2Fe14B phase. The viscosity of the nonmagnetic slurry composition at 25°C is 500 to 5000 Pa-s at the shearing speed of 0.1 s-1 and 10 to 300 Pa-s at the shearing speed of 100 s-1. The nonmagnetic slurry composition contains a metal particle (A) of rare earth/Cu alloy and a binder (B), the oxygen concentration of the metal particle (A) is less than 3000 ppm.
