PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a ferrite sintered magnet superior in residual magnetic flux density(Br) and squareness ratio (Hk/HcJ); and a motor arranged by use of such a ferrite sintered magnet.SOLUTION : A ferrite sintered magnet 10 comprises, as a main phase, M type Sr ferrite having a hexagonal structure. The M type Sr ferrite includes Zn of which the content is 0.05-1.35 mass% in terms of ZnO, and substantially no rare earth element (R), and satisfies the following expression : 0.5≤{M3-(M4/12)}/M5≤4.8, where M3 represents the total content of at least one element of Sr, Ba and Ca on a molar basis, M4 represents the total content of at least one element of Fe, Co, Mn, Zn, Cr and Al on a molar basis, and M5 represents the content of Si on a molar basis.COPYRIGHT : (C)2016, JPO&INPIT |
