PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a catalyst material for purifying engine exhaust gas having excellent oxygen storage/emission ability.SOLUTION : A catalyst material for purifying engine exhaust gas includes Ce-containing oxide particles carrying Pt, and a carrying material mainly composed of an oxide of a rare earth metal other than Ce. The oxide of the rare earth metal other than Ce has a lattice constant having the size of 90% or more and 110% or less of the lattice constant of CeO2, and the carrying material is carried on the surface of the Ce-containing oxide particles, and at least a part thereof is solid-dissolved.COPYRIGHT : (C)2015, JPO&INPIT |
