PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrodeposition device capable of performing the operation of electrodeposition keeping electrodeposition liquid homogeneous by overflowing and circulating it and controlling the surface of the electrodeposition liquid to be flat, capable of accurately adjusting the immersion volume (immersion depth) of an object to be processed, and capable of accurately and easily controlling the location and the range to be coated with a coating agent.
SOLUTION : An electrodeposition device includes an inner tank 1, an outer tank 3, electrodeposition liquid returning means 4, a flow straightening member 5 disposed in the inner tank, holding means 8 for holding an object p to be processed, a counter electrode 6, and voltage applying means 9. The electrodeposition liquid 2 overflowing from the inner tank is returned from the outer tank to the bottom of the inner tank by the electrodeposition returning means so as to be circulated. Concurrently, the flow of the electrodeposition liquid is straightened by the straightening member so as to maintain the liquid surface of the electrodeposition liquid in the inner tank flat. The object to be processed held by the holding means is partially immersed in the electrodeposition liquid, and a voltage is applied between the object to be processed and the counter electrode, so that the object to be processed is partially coated with the coating agent by electrodeposition.
