PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a PTC element which exhibits excellent jump characteristics while reducing the room temperature resistivity without using Pb, and also reduces secular change, and to provide a heat-generating module.SOLUTION : The PTC element has at least two ohmic electrodes, and a semiconductor porcelain composition where part of Ba of BaTiOarranged between the electrodes is substituted with Bi-Na.
