To provide a capacitor that can improve the reliability of the capacitor in a high temperature condition.SOLUTION : A capacitor 100 comprises a laminate 1 and external electrodes 3 located on the surfaces of the laminate. The laminate 1 has dielectric layers 5 and internal electrode layers 7, and a plurality of the dielectric layers 5 and the internal electrode layers 7 are alternately laminated. The dielectric layers 5 are composed of a plurality of crystal particles 6 including titanate. The laminate 1 has a BaTiSiO compound crystal phase 8. The BaTiSiO compound crystal phase 8 includes a heterogenous phase 8a of a rare earth element-containing compound.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 3A |
