PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a window in which an infrared visible conversion layer is provided for converting infrared light contained in sunlight into visible light and emitting light, which has excellent visibility and which reduces thermal energy entering through the window.
SOLUTION : A window includes : a window frame (21); and a plurality of tabular visible light transmission plates (30, 30) mounted in the window frame (21). Between the two visible light transmission plates (30, 30), a plurality of infrared visible conversion layers (32) arranged at predetermined intervals and a translucent member (31) are provided. The infrared visible conversion layer (32) is light emitting glass containing a phosphor including rare earth elements. The phosphor emits up-conversion light having light of a wavelength of one of red, green, and blue, and it is configured by an inorganic phosphor whose base material is an oxide or a fluoride.
