The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for removing the foreign materials of a synthetic resin film, wherein foreign materials including rare-earth elements, which remain on a PET film, can be removed continuously. The apparatus for removing foreign materials of a synthetic resin film comprises : a roll film mounting stand for holding a roll-shaped synthetic resin film having foreign materials including rare-earth elements, which remain on a front surface and/or a rear surface, to be transferred toward one side; a foreign material removing part for providing a transfer path of the synthetic resin film being transferred through the roll film mounting stand, repeatedly scraping the upper surface and lower surface of the synthetic resin film being transferred, along a preset track during a transfer process, and scraping foreign materials including rare-earth elements, which remain on the upper surface and lower surface of the synthetic resin film, where the direction of the transfer path of the synthetic resin film being transferred is changed upward or downward; and a washing tank for washing the synthetic resin film transferred from the foreign material removing part.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015 |
