PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a silanol group-containing olefin compound easily with a high yield without causing a side reaction such as condensation or substitution of a silanol group.SOLUTION : There is provided a method for producing a silanol group-containing olefin compound represented by the formula (1) in which an olefin compound represented by the formula (i) and a halogen-containing compound represented by the formula (ii) are reacted by adding a base typified by triethylamine in the presence of a palladium catalyst. (X is a monovalent hydrocarbon group and in which a part of the carbon atoms may be substituted with a hetero atom; Hal is a halogen atom or a triflate group; n is 1 to 10; Y is a divalent conjugated substituent represented by a di-substituted benzene; and Rand Rare a monovalent hydrocarbon group.) |
