Provided is a compression-bonded magnet with a case, with which high magnetic characteristics, high corrosion resistance, and high endurance strength may be achieved, despite low cost. This compression-bonded magnet with a case (1) is provided with : a compression-bonded magnet (2) that includes a rare earth magnet powder such as an isotropic Nd-Fe-B magnet powder or the like, and a resin binder of a thermal-curable resin; a case (3) in which the compression-bonded magnet (2) is inserted; and a sealing member (4). The compression-bonded magnet (2) is formed by making a powder compact through compression molding of a mixture that includes a rare earth magnet powder and a resin binder, and curing the resin binder in the powder compact. The rare earth magnet powder is included in a large amount with respect to the entire compression-bonded magnet (e.g., 85-90% expressed as volume percentage). The sealing member (4) is fastened to the insertion opening (3a) of the case (3), and the compression-bonded magnet (2) is hermetically sealed by the sealing member (4) and the case 3. |
